Anchorage Police identified a man who was declared dead after being found inside an apartment with multiple gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - APD arrested 18-year-old Santino Figueroa on one count of murder in the second degree.
Figueroa told officers he shot Encabo, according to charging documents. He also explained to detectives that earlier that day, someone living inside Encabo’s apartment stole his girlfriend’s money out of her wallet. He went to grab a gun “to light the place up like the Fourth of July.” Figueroa later claimed he shot in self-defense.Alaska’s News Source reached out to Figueroa‘s attorney but hasn’t heard back at the time of publishing.
