A new apartment community on the way in Allen is part of an 80-acre mixed-use development.

The project is designed to include about 1,600 urban residential units, 1 million square feet of office, retail and single-family homes.It’s a project of McKinney-based Thakkar Developers, which had originally included a sports stadium in the project.
