A downtown Long Beach apartment complex has recently been plagued by a series of alarming incidents, leaving residents saying they are concerned for their safety.
The Camden Harbor View Apartments complex was the target of alleged arson in September and residents said Monday that there has been a wave of break-ins, burglaries, and physical assaults. Frustrated tenants have reached out to both the management and the city, seeking solutions to the escalating security issues. One of the latest tenants to leave the apartments, who wished to remain anonymous, said that there was no longer a feeling of safety within the complex.
' Long Beach police officers have been responding to the distress calls, but many residents believe that more needs to be done by the management and city authorities to curb the crime. The tenants are making a plea for increased security measures and assistance, warning that they may leave the complex for good if their safety concerns are not addressed.
