The Anzac Day march has commenced in Sydney, with the Governor of New South Wales, Margaret Beazley, leading the procession.
Approximately 10,000 ex-service and currently serving personnel are participating in the march, showcasing the strength and unity of the military community.
World War Two veterans led the march this morning, followed by those who served in the Navy, army and Air Force, individuals who supported Australian troops and descendants of Australian veterans.

Hundreds of people to commemorate Anzac Day through Trek4VetsTrek4Vets co-founder Dean Luland says at least 300 people over seven areas and three separate states will be participating in the Midnight2Dawn Trek to commemorate Anzac Day.
