The Forward Innovation Center near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is a 200-acre industrial site that once housed a Ford Motor Co. plant and is poised to become a large manufacturing and distribution hub.
But Team NEO's inability quickly to assemble 2,000 acres of buildable greenfield land for Intel's proposed chip plants on a site reasonably close to the Cleveland airport opened the door to Greater Columbus and executives of New Albany Co. to snag the project for central Ohio, Brent Larkin writes in his column today.
