ANWAR Ibrahim wanted to be appointed deputy prime minister as part of Pakatan Harapan’s support for Dr Mahathir Mohamad to be the eighth prime minister in the midst of the recent political crisis. The former prime minister said this was what Anwar sought when PH decided to support him instead of the PKR president for the post.
