PETALING JAYA: Former education minister Dr Maszlee Malik has hinted that he may return to serve in the government.
"He told me: 'Just get ready, your sabbatical will soon be over!" said Maszlee, who did not reveal what role he would play in the government.In a Facebook post on Sunday , Maszlee congratulated Anwar and said the PKR central leadership committee firmly supported him over reforms for the prosperity of the people and the country.
"PKR central committee members will ensure that the party remains relevant and remains the party of choice by the multiracial society of this country," said Maszlee. Maszlee who won the Simpang Renggam parliamentary seat in GE14 in 2018, was then appointed as education minister under Tun Dr Mahathir MohamadIn GE15, Maszlee lost the Simpang Renggam seat to Johor Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad.
