Anwar says special task force set up to resolve Kelantan, Sabah water woes

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says the Kelantan and Sabah administrations need to work with the federal government to ensure their people have stable access to clean water. – Facebook pic, June 1, 2023.

Anwar, who is also finance minister, said the task force setup was agreed upon in a special meeting involving Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob and Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Mohd Noor at Perdana Putra in Putrajaya today. “Our responsibility is to ensure the people have access to clean water as soon as possible,” he told reporters after handing over keys to Madani Dalur homes for civil servants today.
