PKR vice-president Tian Chua was assaulted after a party meeting this morning. A man has been arrested.

The PKR president also expressed regret over the unreasonable behaviour of several supporters who had attacked a party leader. Tian Chua, who is aligned to sacked PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, was hit with bottles and slapped by angry supporters on the way to his car after leaving a PKR central leadership meeting. A man in his 30s has since been arrested.
