KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India for the successful landing of Indian spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 on the southern polar region of the moon on Wednesday (Aug 23).
In a Facebook post on Thursday , the Malaysian Prime Minister said Malaysia also took pride in the unprecedented landing, describing it as a success for Asia too.
"India has now conquered the moon, and I regard it as a success not only for India but also Asia and all its citizens. "Malaysia also takes pride in this feat, and this is clearly 'The Asian Century'. Congratulations, India!" he said.
