It’s Iglesias’ first visit to the top tier in over two years. He last scored a top 10 when former No. 1 “El Baño,” featuring Bad Bunny, peaked at No. 5 in its second week.
“Fútbol & Rumba” vaults at No. 8, having drawn 6 million in audience impressions in the week ending June 14, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. As the song pushes up the chart, Anuel AA adds his 11th total Latin Rhythm Airplay top 10, dating to his first, “Ella Quiere Beber,” featuring Romeo Santos . Over the history of the chart which began in 2005, Anuel AA ties Aventura and Natti Natasha, all with 11 top 10s.
Iglesias, meanwhile, adds a 10th Latin Rhythm top 10 to his files which began when first chart entry “Do You Know? ” peaked at No. 9 in 2007.“Fútbol” is just the second song offto secure a spot on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. It trails the one-week ruler “Secreto,” with Karol G Song, Additional Artists , Rank, Date Reached, Weeks at No. 1“Adictiva,” with Daddy Yankee, No. 5, Feb. 16, 2019“Baila Baila Baila,” with Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin and Farruko, No. 1.
