Ajax have REJECTED a €90m bid from Man United for Antony. Wow.
He has been impressive in the Netherlands since signing from Sao Paulo in 2020 for around £14m.Antony was terrific under Erik ten Hag, who left Ajax to replace Ralf Rangnick as Manchester United manager in May.
Ten Hag has been pursuing former Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong all summer but has not been able to prize him away from Barcelona. While another midfielder would be pretty handy, Ten Hag can turn his attention elsewhere before the inevitable hectic deadline day.Their pursuit of Antony is slightly questionable, with many fans surprised by the amount of money the Red Devils have offered to sign him.
Although €90m is a ridiculous amount of money and should be enough for Ajax to accept, they are standing firm.
