Giovanni van Bronckhorst brought the Croatian to Ibrox from PAOK and he hit the ground running but after Michael Beale's arrival and some injury issues he fell down the pecking order and was sold after just one season.
The Light Blues announced last night that they had parted ways with the former QPR manager after less than a year in the hot seat. He took over the top job from Giovanni van Bronckhorst in November after proving a popular figure during his time as No2 to Steven Gerrard at the club. Results and performances have been well below par this season with three defeats in seven league outings - including to Celtic at Ibrox - leaving them SEVEN points behind Brendan Rodgers' men at this early stage.

Writing on Instagram, Rangers said: "Rangers Football Club can confirm it has parted company with men’s first-team manager, Michael Beale. The Rangers board would like to put on record their thanks to Michael and his staff for their efforts since joining the club last November.
