The latest episode of the BBC series saw members of the public bringing their prized possessions along to Alexandra Gardens in Cardiff.

An Antiques Roadshow guest was left gobsmacked to discover the huge value of a book they owned after it had been found at a rubbish dump, before he bought it online.

He went to say how the online seller said it had been found on a tip in North Wales Wales over 35-years ago. Astounded expert Clive asked: 'So this valuable manuscript with your family in, was found on a tip? somebody had just thrown it out?'. The boy - who is thought to be the youngest-ever guest on the long-running series - did not reveal his name, but the antique teapot was marked with the letter G, which is his initial.

'And the G on there is probably a family name of whoever this belonged to at one point. You're right that it's sterling silver.'
