One of the Jersey Cape’s newest restaurants most anticipated restaurants for its view of the open water began serving its first dishes this week.
The restaurant is only feet from the Delaware Bay’s bank. Besides being known as a spot with ideal sunset views, Sunset Beach is most known for the protruding wreck of the SS Atlantus, a concrete ship built during World War I. The new restaurant, with undertones of an oceanside seafood shack, is across the parking lot from Sunset Beach Gifts and Mini-golf on Sunset Boulevard. Both are a brief walk from the historic lookout used to spot potential enemy ships during World War II.
According to the Fish House website, the new restaurant will serve fresh seafood, craft sandwiches and homemade local ice cream. It’s the latest restaurant opened byTwo more restaurants - The Goat House and Port Marina, which will assume the space last known as the Harbor View Restaurant and Bar - are expected to open under the company’s brand.
