The controversial anti-terror bill is backed by almost 800 local government officials, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque says.

Ito ay kahit pa ilang araw nang maingay ang pagtutol ng maraming Pilipino dito habang hinihintay kung aaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang natanggap na enrolled bill. "Sinabi ni Pangulo na pagdating sa anti-terror bill, hinihintay lang niya si Sen. [Panfilo] Lacson ang huling commas at periods niya. Ibig sabihin po bagama't nasa Malacañang na po ang anti-terror bill, siguro pinag-aaralan pa ng Office of the Executive Secretary ang isinumiteng panukalang batas dahil wala pa po sa lamesa ng President," ani Roque.
