Women’s coaches on LRT, MRT, and KTM trains have been around for years. Unfortunately, some male passengers are still “invading” the coaches designated only for the ladies.
In a press conference this noon , Anthony told the media that he is well aware of the ongoing situations and complaints regarding male passengers in women’s coaches. Currently, there are no rules or penalties on how to handle male passengers who trespass, but that does not mean things will stay the same.
As of now, the manpower of the auxiliary police at all stations will come in handy to ask the male passengers to leave the women’s coaches. In the meantime, Anthony reminded the men to be respectful of the rules.
