Anthony Loke announces 3 Kedah transport projects
Transport Minister Anthony Loke says the upgrades to Kedah’s public transport facilities are part of the unity government’s responsibilities to the state, and have nothing to do with state elections. – Facebook pic, May 30, 2023.
He said the Kuala Kedah project is about to go to the tender advertisement stage for the demolition, construction, and upgrade of the passenger, cargo, and roll-on, roll-off terminal and jetty. Loke said the project will focus on a green technology-based new terminal that can accommodate up to 3,000 passengers from only 800 currently.
