Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s partner Jodie Haydon has stepped in to help Labor ahead of the NSW state election, by campaigning alongside a candidate in Sydney's south-west.
Ms Haydon, dressed in red, was pictured campaigning with Labor candidate for Oatley Ashvini Ambihaipahar outside Mortdale Railway Station on Thursday.She was also joined by Anna Minns, the wife of NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns who is challenging Premier Dominic Perrottet at the state election on March 25.
The Oatley candidate has been outspoken in her opposition of Mr Perrottet’s plan to privatise Sydney Water and has pushed for a fix to the crisis buckling hospitals across the state. Ms Haydon's day job is as a women's advocate and a women's officer for the NSW Public Service Association, which she does alongside assisting in responsibilities and duties for Mr Albanese.
