“I think the Middle East has this habit of just blowing up at an inconvenient moment and it’s done it again,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia. “This one is quite serious when you listen to the language used by Netanyahu; he’s not about a few skirmishes; he’s about whipping out Hamas, he’s about going into Gaza, he’s about blowing up anything that looks like Hamas and this can get very serious.”
“If you start to see civilians, women and children killed … indiscriminately, then I think this is going to blow up in Israel’s face.
