Exclusive: AntManandtheWaspQuantumania director Peyton Reed on what sets Cassie Lang apart from the other young MCU heroes: 'Her ideals are going to be put to the test... She's part of the family business but hasn't quite figured it out yet.' 🤔
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed reveals what makes Cassie Lang different from the other new heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unlike many of the new heroes introduced in Phase Four, Cassie Lang has been a part of the MCU since the Infinity Saga in Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame. However, in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Cassie is a teenager who is stepping into her own as a hero.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Cassie really grows into her own as a character in Quantumania. What is the driving force that sets her apart from other young heroes that we've been introduced to in the MCU? She's also at an age where she's critical of her dad, but I think what sets her apart is that it's a family business. She's just trying to figure out how to be a good citizen of the world and what that means.
