BYU cannot choose only to accept members of the faith, for instance, or discriminate with applicants based on personal identity in any other way, if it wants to be accredited. “They help the diversity of medicine,” he said. “People of different faiths can see ways of bringing the resources of their own religious beliefs to the practice of medicine.”
