Muhyiddin Yassin claims he is the acting PPBM chairman after Dr Mahathir Mohamad quit on Monday.

Marzuki said that under Clause 16.2.1 of the party constitution, the chairman is the main leader of the party and responsible for policies and the smooth running of party matters. As such, he said, all actions on PPBM’s direction were subject to Mahathir’s decision as the chairman.
