Another brother of Cebu governor dies
Marlon Garcia, mayor of Barili town in southern Cebu, died past midnight Sunday in a private hospital in Cebu City.
Nelson died last September 1, but the cause of death was not made public. He was laid to rest Saturday. District Representative Pablo John Garcia. Their father, Pablo Garcia, was a former Cebu governor and a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. “To lose one brother is painful enough, but to lose another brother in the same week, my heart just cannot take any further. The true fighter that he was, my brother, Marlon has been fighting for his life for the last few weeks,” Winston said in a Facebook post.
