The unit wants to identify the boy and add his name to the marker, made in collaboration with a business that makes monuments in Swift Current. In recent weeks, the marker was added for people to pay their respects at Mount Pleasant Burial Park in Swift Current.
While police cannot provide much more information about the letter, they’re making a public appeal and providing new information in the hopes that the little boy can be identified and that the people involved can share a long-held secret and heal. She said there were no specific details regarding the baby’s clothing, but there were apparent signs of care: he was wrapped in a couple of blankets and was wearing pyjamas and a diaper.
