Shedeur Sanders' stock seems to be falling as the NFL Draft draws closer.
Shedeur Sanders has been one of, if not the most polarizing prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.Some scouts and mock draft experts believe him to be a top of the line quarterback, with Mel Kiper Jr. even ranking him No.
1 in his rankings for the position over likely No. 1 pick Cam Ward.Meanwhile, there are others who believe Sanders' is at best a second round pick, with some of that camp citing his personality as a major flaw.Apparently, however, that crowd includes a handful of NFL executives as well, with two - one former and one current - slamming Sanders ahead of Thursday's draft.'The worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life. He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks,' an anonymous AFC executive told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. 'He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. ... But the biggest thing is, he's not that good. It didn't go great in our interview. He wants to dictate what he's going to do and what's best for him. He makes you feel small.'As if that wasn't bad enough, there was another executive who was not impressed with Sanders as well.Only this time that executive came from the NFC, and cited that Sanders has seemingly regressed from 2023 to 2024.'I liked him the year before,' the anonymous NFC GM told Pelissero. 'They did change coordinators. It just felt different. It felt less athletic, less arm talent -- everything felt less. If you're talking about this year's tape versus Dart and Shedeur, I don't think it was particularly close.'Unfortunately for Sanders, there were a significant number of other detractors as well, with some pointing out his lack of elite arm talent, or his lack of athleticism as his biggest flaws.Suffice it to say, if there are this many NFL executives and coaches that have issues with Sanders and his tools, then there must be some sort of consensus as to the fact that is not worthy of his lofty pre-draft projections.And if that is indeed the case, we could be in store for a night in which Sanders potentially has a major slide in Round 1.
