The festival will span five days, running from Oct. 9-13.
The Midtown Scholar , located at 1302 N. 3rd St, Harrisburg , will host its annual Harrisburg Book Festival from Oct. 9-13. The event will feature a lineup of best-selling authors and plenty of titles to add to your collection.
Alongside various author visits, attendees can also participate in an outdoor tent sale and a day dedicated to children’s books. Children’s Day will run from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 12 at the Midtown Scholar. Children and their families can enjoy face painting, book signings, and a meet-and-greet with the bookstore’s mascot, Rascal. The featured authors for this event include Hanna Cha, Amanda Foody, Bryan Collier, and David Hicks. There will also be a bookstore scavenger hunt, and prizes for the children.
