After more than two decades of being part of the television variety show “Eat Bulaga,” TV host Anjo Yllana has bid farewell to the noontime show.
The 52-year-old shared through social media last Aug. 11 that he submitted his resignation with a “heavy heart.”
“Thank you Dabarkads…thank you Eat Bulaga…21 years and it was a blast… Good Bye and all roads to your 50th,” he wrote on Instagram along with a series of photos of him with the hosts; at work; and with GMA executives. Produced by TAPE Inc., “Eat Bulaga” is the longest-running variety show in the country with over 12,619 episodes. Originally hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Chiqui Hollman, and Richie D’Horsie, it premiered on July 30, 1979.
