Ani DiFranco will hit the road next year in support of her 23rd studio album, 'Unprecedented Sh!t,' which was released back in May.
The first leg of the trek will kick off on Jan. 16 at the Paramount Theatre in Austin and wrap on Feb. 1 at the Moore Theater in Seattle. Following a performance on the Cayamo Cruise, DiFranco will pick up again March 8 in Orlando at the Plaza Live, with the run wrapping with two nights at the Somerville Theatre in Somerville, Massachusetts, April 19 and 20.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. local time. A presale for fans will run Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. local time through Sept. 26 at 2 a.m. local time. Full info is available on. The new album was produced by BJ Burton , and its title was meant to refer to both the new musical styles and sounds DiFranco explores, and the current political and social climate. The record includes songs about issues like reproductive rights , the Covid-19 pandemic , and climate change .
