Rendon said his wrist had been bothering him for a couple days, and it got worse when he was swinging on Thursday night. Rendon was starting to heat up at the plate before he was hurt.
ANAHEIM — This is a new one for Anthony Rendon.
“The only time you’re 100 percent is in spring training,” Rendon said. “It just flared up on a couple swings.” “Just a waiting game now to see when it calms down,” Rendon said. “Just let it relax and see in a few days.” This year he started slowly, and Manager Joe Maddon was giving him a little extra time off to account for his injury from last year.
