Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax Jolie-Pitt was hospitalized Monday following an accident while riding an electric bike in Los Angeles, NBC News has confirmed from a source close to Jolie. The source added that the actress is “by her son’s side” and that he is in “stable condition.” NBC News has reached out to representatives for Jolie and Pitt for comment. TMZ was first to report that the 20-year-old was riding his e-bike Monday afternoon and not wearing a helmet at the time.
The couple split in 2016 after Jolie accused Pitt of choking one of their children during a volatile trans-Atlantic flight in 2016. Jolie filed for divorce following the alleged incident. NBC News obtained the FBI report of the incident in 2022, following a Freedom of Information/Privacy Act lawsuit brought by “Jane Doe.” Following the alleged incident, Pitt was investigated by the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services.
