The president of Mrs Philippines Organization has invited Angelica Yulo - the controversial mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo - to join their pageant scheduled for March of next year with a P150,000 grand prize.
Sep 11, 2024 02:59 AMIn a media conference over the weekend, Mrs Philippines announced its rebranding: from its logo depicting a woman carrying a child--it now bears an empowered woman with the nation's flag.The president of Mrs. Philippines Organization has invited Angelica Yulo - the controversial mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo - to join their pageant scheduled for March of next year with a P150,000 grand prize.
The beauty queen revealed that she's sympathetic towards Angelica since they're both mothers."I think na naging gymnast yung mga anak niya because naghirap din siya for it. She surely sacrificed a lot of things para ma-suportahan lahat ng anak niya. And I believe in the goodness and kindness of motherhood."
"There is no restriction for Mrs. Philippines, age limit, or size requirement. We don't do money-shaming. So everyone, as long as you're a mother, a single mom, a married woman, or you're widowed or separated, you are welcome to join Mrs. Philippines 2025. The only exception I would name are single women with no children because we can categorize them in the Miss Pageant series," she elaborated.
