WNBA star Angel Reese on Wednesday shared her reaction to the projected results of the presidential election, saying she is disappointed in her country.

“I’m so disappointed in America,” she wrote via X. “Some of you just couldn’t selfishly put your pride aside huh??!?!?”Reese in August was asked by a reporter to share her thoughts on Vice President Kamala Harris following the launch of her presidential bid. The WNBA star explained during that interview she did not feel educated enough to share a comment at the time.
Reese drew attention throughout the WNBA season when match-ups between her and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark became heated. In June, Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., demanded the WNBA answer for repeated fouls committed against Clark by various players.
