The “30 Rocks! Celebrating the Best of 3 Decades” concerts will take place at UCLA’s Royce Hall on June 11-12.

“It just phenomenally grew,” Fink said. “It just started expanding so quickly and we got so many cool opportunities.”

The group got their first big taste of fame a few years ago when they posted their rendition of Toto’s 1982 hit “Africa” on YouTube, which amassed more than 23 million views. That got the attention of “America’s Got Talent” producers and they invited the group to compete back in 2018. “We thought, what the heck, it’s one song and it would get our name out there. We never thought it would go past that but it did,” Fink said.

The choir got a “yes” vote from all the judges when they sang the song that made them famous on YouTube. Later in the show, the chorale sang “Baba Yetu” by American composer Christopher Tin. That performance earned them a Golden Buzzer and they made it all the way to the semi finals. The chorale will relive some of their TV memories at the anniversary show when they perform “Baba Yetu,” “This Is Me” from “The Greatest Showman” and, of course, “Africa.

“It’s been really cool to have had all these adventures that have taken us around the world,” Fink said.7 p.m. Saturday, June 10; 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11
