EPL: Ange Postecoglou has suffered his first loss in the Premier League after Tottenham were reduced to 9-men against Chelsea.
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou did not have any complaints about Cristian Romero’s red card and believed VAR will eventually leave referees without “any authority.”
It was a reckless challenge from Romero and left many pundits wondering what he was thinking by going in for such a rash challenge. But Postecoglou had zero complaints about Romero’s send-off. “A decision is a decision. You either accept it or you don’t. I’ve always been in the camp you accept it.“It is what it is.”
Earlier in the gameweek, Spurs’ bitter rivals Arsenal were at the centre of a VAR controversy which condemned the club to a 1-0 loss to Newcastle. “The result should not be what it is. Embarrassing what happened, how this goal stands, in the Premier League, this league we say is the best in the world,” Arteta said.
