ILIGAN CITY — This morning, while doing my Fountain of Youth exercise, my sixth book is formed in my head…I start today…
Normally, what do we write about… something, an event in my own head, or within the household that I just observed… something to record… Bakit konti lang ang nakasulat sa buhay natin… natural lang kasi sa Ingles, “oral people” tayo, mahilig magkuwento ng buhay natin… ngayon nandiyan na ang kantahan… kaya nandiyan na si “Marites”, sa You Tube, meron nang Tagalog, meron nang Ilocano, meron na Bicol… yong iba enjoy sa love life nila… kuwento ng kaibigan… pag-iibigan… itong ibig madaling gawin kanta o kuwento… merong mga taong tahimik, nakikinig lang, meron iba kuwento ng kuwento… madrama… nakakaiyak… nakakatakot … kaya maraming...
Inis ako sa titser ko sa Grade 1 hanggang ngayon… baka pumanaw na yon, 1949 pa yon, kasi pagdating sa pagsusulat, laging diin, estrikto siya sa indention, one inch sa itaas, sa ibaba, sa kanan, sa kaliwa… laging low grade ako kasi ang turo ng nanay ko, huwag mag-aksaya… ayon mahal ang papel, gamit ang lahat na space ang ginagamit ko, feeling ko ganda ng sinulat ko pero low grade pa rin…
