Daniel Andrews was quizzed about his future in politics, after Mark McGowan abruptly resigned due to the exhaustive nature of being Premier.

after serving in the state's top job since 2017, and as the Member for Rockingham since 1996Speaking to reporters outside the Victorian Parliament, Mr Andrews said he was “all good” and there was a “lot to get on with” when questioned.“These jobs are an amazing privilege. And there are no easy days in this job. That’s not a complaint. That’s just a fact,” he said on Tuesday.

“I have loved the role, I have loved being able to deliver on our agenda for the benefit of our state. I have loved the challenge of solving problems, making decisions, getting outcomes, and helping people,” Mr McGowan said at a press conference in Perth. “I'm convinced WA Labor can win and will win the next election in 2025. But I just don't have the energy or drive that is required to continue in the role as Premier.”

Mr Andrews has been forced to address his future on several occasions, having been the longest serving Labor Premier in the state’s history.
