A heavy police response is underway in a Midtown neighborhood as a suspect refuses to leave their residence, according to the Anchorage Police Department.

According to APD, police responded to the south end of Williams Street, tucked away in a neighborhood near 36th Avenue and Lake Otis Parkway, after a suspect refused to leave their residence. In a video of the incident, a half dozen police cars crowd the southern end of Williams Street, and one officer appears to relay a message over a loudspeaker: “You don’t want to air your vengence out like this.”The Anchorage Police Department is attempting to remove a suspect from a Midtown home.
