Anchorage Police Department is exploring the use of license plate readers

Unofficial results from the City of Palmer's regular election show voters approving a $10 million bond to reconstruct or rebuild the Palmer Public Library after it suffered a roof collapse last winter.Owner Kori Mateaki said the business, which opened in 2016 offering adult day services, had outgrown its former location, a modest home in the Turnagain neighborhood. The number of people they can serve has jumped from 60 to 260 in the new space.
