President Cyril Ramaphosa said Popo Molefe was not 'left to dry' by the governing party in his fight to protect the Passenger Rail Agency from state capture. | KhulekaniMag Fin24
Former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa chair Popo Molefe had various options at his disposal to fight state capture at the entity before declaring that he was"left to dry" by the ANC top six, President Cyril Ramaphosa told the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture on Wednesday.
He further denied claims that the party's leadership had deliberately failed to act in order to facilitate the board's collapse. The president, who previously testified in April, on Wednesday gave evidence in his capacity as SA president and as deputy president serving under former president Jacob Zuma. He will return on Thursday for his final day of testimony.
