Chairperson Panyaza Lesufi is calling on the party to prioritise socio-economic challenges.
Party president Cyril Ramaphosa reaffirmed that the step-aside resolution is here to stay.
Lesufi said,"if you're a disciplined member of the ANC you have to accept what the president has summarised. There are some people who believe it's not consistent, and we've all agreed as conference." "It's not an issue, the issue is unemployment, poverty, lawlessness, number of things going high when salaries are going down. Let's deal with issues that affect our people."
"You can't have so many young people unemployed, and we're focused on who should step aside or not, young people should not rely on handouts, but opportunities"
