ANC in KZN suspends membership of KwaDukuza Municipal Mayor, Lindiwe Nhaca.
The party has also accused her of behaving in a manner which has the potential to weaken the party and compromise unity.
ANC Provincial Spokesperson, Mafika Mndebele says disciplinary processes have been instituted against Nhaca. Mndebele says, “Comrade Lindi will not be allowed to attend any meetings of the ANC, any meetings of the municipality as a public representative of the ANC or call any meetings under the banner of the African National Congress.”
“Comrade Lindi who served as a representative has behaved in a manner that has the potential to weaken the ANC and compromise the unity within the ranks. We remain committed to ensuring that the service delivery is not affected in KwaDukuza Municipality,” he adds.
