JOHANNESBURG - The ANC in Gauteng has dismissed AfriForum's call for the removal of Gauteng’s MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi as a “desperate attempt to resist transformation at all costs.”
“The racially inspired, ill-fated & misguided campaign to remove the MEC for Education & Youth Development Cde Panyaza Lesufi from office is nothing but a desperate attempt to resist transformation at all costs,” the party said in a statement.The department is in consultation with all schools in the province toGauteng school placement period extended
“It is a disgrace that the Premier still allows Lesufi to hold office despite the damage he has already inflicted on the Gauteng education system and on social cohesion in the country.
