In a few hours, South Africans will decide which party they want to represent them in the country’s 278 municipalities.
This year’s local government elections were not without hurdles. Its coalition with the smaller parties also disintegrated in Nelson Mandela Bay and the City of Johannesburg. The EFF was a bedfellow of the DA, but lost its appetite for the blue party, leading to theEconomic Freedom Fighters manifesto launch at Gandhi Square in Johannesburg.
