Voting for additional NEC members is still underway.
ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa says the conference has reaffirmed the party's desire to unite and renew itself.Ramaphosa says the ANC has come out united despite the different views and principles within the organisation. "We've come to the end of the first part of our 55th ANC national conference," said party president Cyril Ramaphosa."As you've heard, the steering committee has decided and you've approved and decided as a conference to accept a proposal by the steering committee to adjourn this conference and to continue our work on 5 January."
