A pregnant Florida teen missing for one week is believed to have been found dead early this morning in Alabama.
Anastasia Gilley, 19, was last seen at her Jackson County, Florida, home on May 3. She was four months pregnant.
Her phone, purse and other personal belongings were found at her home. Also, her sister said, she didn’t show up for work and missed a doctor appointment. “The investigation quickly led to the arrest of an Alabama man, who has been in custody since earlier this week,’’ the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.The suspect has not been identified nor have formal charges been announced.
“As this tragedy continues to unfold, Sheriff Edenfield and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim,’’ the press release stated.
