The Scottish Labour leader is a 'massive' WWE fan and recently attended a live event at the Hydro in Glasgow with his youngest son.
Anas Sarwar has said he hopes the most prestigious event in world wrestling could one day be held in Scotland.
It comes after more than 13,000 fans packed into the Hydro in Glasgow in June for the first WWE premium events to be staged north of the Border. Khan, the Labour mayor of London, recently held talks with WWE chief content officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque about bringing the annual bash to the Capital. Matt Forde, who was interviewing Sarwar for his The Political Party podcast, quipped "it's not a real sport" and joked it was a "soap opera for stuntmen" but was "very entertaining".
The Scottish Labour leader said he recently returned home to hear his eight-year-old son shouting the Prime Minister’s name.
