Bathabile Dlamini has been sentenced to four years in prison or a R200,000 fine for perjury.
JOHANNESBURG - ANC Women's League President Bathabile Dlamini should have been suspended a long time ago, according to political analyst, Professor Sethulego Matebesi.Bathabile Dlamini opts to pay a fine for perjury
Matebesi said,"unfortunately, mme Bathabile Dlamini should have been suspended long time ago or step aside. But I predict that a call will be made for her to voluntarily step aside because she has been found guilty in a court of law, even if there has been option of [paying a] fine, it has a reputational damage for the African National Congress".
