According to Carroll, the president recognized her as"that advice lady" and asked her to help him pick out a gift for"a girl." The pair settled on a piece of lacy lingerie and Trump asked Carroll to try it on. Carroll said she deflected the offer and told him to try it on instead. The pair then made their way to a dressing room where, Carroll alleges, Trump sexually assaulted her.
Carroll also claimed that the dress she wore on the night of the encounter,"still hangs on the back of my closet door, unworn and unlaundered since that evening."New York Magazine
