San Antonio’s Oscar de la Tienda corner store fuels Alta Vista with art, music, community, sandwiches
an eclectic convenience store in the Alta Vista neighborhood that’s become quite the cool little hotspot for arts, culture and fellowship in San Antonio.
“It’s a reflection of the community,” said Gomez, who bought the building and its convenience store in August. “When I took over this store, people asked what are you going to do with it? And I said I wanted to support the local arts and music scene in San Antonio, and also be hyper-focused on locally sourced goods and other small business.
